hello,
i am looking for three days in disney with park hopping options, and a day in each of the two water parks.
so my question is what ticket would be better for me?

A MYW 3 day hopper with water parks & fun, would give you all of the above plus an extra plus visit for Disneyquest or Pleasure Island maybe. Some sites have free upgrades with extra days if you could use them. Compare with a 5 or 7 day Premium ticket which is around the same price but offers more flexibility and could be upgraded to non expiry and used for another trip.

Those first 2 or 3 days are expensive, extra days are relatively cheap by comparison.

Due to the weak dollar it is cheaper to buy a 5 day premium than the 3/4 day MYW hop/water.
