Hi Guys

We are toying with the idea of going back to DLP during the end of May break, the hotel (Sequioa Lodge)for three nights and the Eurostar both booked seperately come in at £1,300ish for 2 adults and 2 kids - this seems a lot but you do get the tickets in that hotel price too I believe. It's not helping that DS1 is 12 and is an adult when its comes to pricing.

Should I search around for an agent to book this trough - I dont mind booking the hotel directly with Disney but the train is £550 which is a lot isnt it? or am I wrong? We live close to Ashford so this is the easier option. When I then price up a week in the sun its the same price self catering!!! major dither coming on here.......!

Any help or advice appreciated

To be honest, its the Eurostar that really eats into the budget. Its very expensive but it is, as you say, convenient.

We couldn't afford the Eurostar this year or last. We are going via the Eurotunnel this Feb. That is paid for by our Tesco vouchers.

We are staying at the Cheyenne for 5 days with park tickets and breakfast and thats come in at £440 for the 4 of us.

We book our hotel through Disney as we find they are the cheapest.

You may be able to get the Eurostar cheaper going indirect but i'm not sure.

Try the actual disneyparis site as well

Kids prices there are up to the age of 17 i think.

Fly if you can help it though will work out probably cheaper. you can get a train from CDG direct to Marne Le Vallee train station which takes 9 minutes to get through.

Yes I am considering flying and was wondering how you get from the airport to Disney so you have answered that for me - thanks. Will have a look who flies there and for how much now - its just that Ashford Eurostar is a half an hour drive for us so I have to weigh it up!

If you can get an Easyjet flight you're laughing

I always book the disney hotel directly with disney too as I find it cheapest.

Shame your not going till May, the Disney website seems to be offering free tickets, hotel and travel (including Eurostar) for under 12's. We are looking at flying with easyjet from Glasgow to CDG and then get the Disney bus to the parks.

Good luck looking

We have used a private shuttle to the parks from the airport. It was around 110-140€ depending on number of people.
