Munich

I'm thinking about a city break to Munich this spring. As I've never been before, can anyone tell me how many airports there are in the vicinty? I can get a direct flight from Edinburgh, but just wondered if in typical Easyjet fashion that the airport they use is in the middle of nowhere!

Munich airport like any other is a bit out of town but under the airport is a train station that takes about 10-15 mins into the main railway station. I have flown in to this airport with Easyjet.

Munich is great! Just sitting in the Marienplatz sipping coffee and scoffing down cake mmmmm.

Just remember that the shops close at 4pm on a Sat and do not open on Sundays.
