Surely its better to have cases coming back. If you are anything like us, we take very little out but an awful lot back. We bought large holdalls in Walmart for $15 which held most of what we bought in Florida. I always feel that that is a much better, and cheaper, option.

Not got a car this time so not going to visit any supermarkets or have any real plans to shop at all. I like things to be sorted before we go so most prob won't do that.

We have M&S ones for the big holiday, but have bought smaller ones from Poundstretcher for weekends away etc.
TBH, I think I would buy one from them again for about £15, you get them in fab colours and if it falls apart when you get home, it's no big deal. I hated seeing my expensive M&S case getting flung across the tarmac!

We now take large holdalls instead of suitcases! They weigh next to nothing and you can cram loads of stuff into them!
Ours cost £9.99 each, they have been on 3 trips and don't have a mark on them, whereas our expensive hard cases are full of dents and marks!

We get the half price ones form Matalan 24" expandable with wheels for £13. Don't like to pay too much as they can get damaged and you don't feel bad about having to throw one after 3 trips whereas with an expensive one I'd feel obliged to claim for it - hassle. We had to throw one in October when we went with TCD handle missing, wheel broken and the inside edge cracked. Filled it and got it home though ;) then straight in the bin - replaced it with one from Walmart which we will take back next time. Had done about 4 trips though and had survived a hurricane so for £12 didn't owe us anything. They do seem to last pretty well considering the pounding they take - they are always bursting at the seams when we bring them back!!

Matalan had some nice blue and grey ones last week but DH has banned me as he says he can't get anything else up the loft till we have a clear out

We have the matalan ones also. I've also seen the blue and grey ones in the sale. We have the plain black ones, unfortunately...so did everyone else (or so it seemed as you wait at the carousel :( ) My DW ties bright coloured ribbon to the handles so we now which ones are ours from a distance ;)

We have bright red ones from Matalans half price sale a few years ago. They have survived 5 trips to Orlando so far and are about to do number 6.
