If we buy them in America will they still work in the UK does anybody know? I know i've got to PAL format. Will they be selling any PAL formated games does anybody know, cheers

No PS2 was region locked.

You can buy them, they just won't work on a UK bought PS2 and as far as I'm aware they don't work on the region free PS3's either.

You won't find any PAL format games in the US they will all be NTSC.
