We stayed at the premier travel inn that was walking distance away.
OMG YUCK, we got back late and had only dumped bags in room, crashed in bed.
Woke up in morn to find blood all over the floor and on the sheets!!! yuck yuck yuck, very nearly heaved.
Went down to complain at reception and they just said had problems with housekeeping, understatement or what

theres a travelodge just round the corner on blackfriars st, and a marriot next to that.
they are both handy for the arena

I can recommend the premier inn too as we stayed there when we say madonna a few years back, fantastic location just a short walk to the arena. If you go on the premierinn website it's the one with MEN Arena in brackets! They do offer some free car parking but it's on a first come first served basis so just depends on whether any left by the time you check-in. As I recall we were out of luck on the friday night but got it on the saturday. There is a large multi-storey right behind it and I don't remember the parking being much anyway if you are unlucky.
