I got mine in Nov 2006 from the Apple store in the Florida Mall - it was $179 (and amazingly £179 for the same model over here...at the time!) worked out nearly half price buying it over there - and one of the good things is the warranty is valid over here, so if you have any problems with it you don't have to go all the way back to Orlando to return it :d: ...unless of course that's all the excuse you need!!!
Hi :wavey:
My sister-in-law picked me some ipod nano's up for the children's Christmas presents in November. She got them from Walmart

Not sure how much cheaper they were than over here.
I did worry at first about charging them up (not realising that you can do it on the pc - technology eh !!!)

Are they really such a bargain in the US at the moment. Looking at the Apple store in US they are $199 for an 8gb Nano, $249 for an 80gb classic and $299 for an 8gb Touch.
With tax (6%) and a 1.90 exchange rate its £111, £139 and £167.
In Amazon UK you can buy them for £119, £146 and £175.
Not really such a great saving although you can shave a few more dollars off at Circuit City.
