Hi wondered if anyone can help
DS & DD have wanted heelys for a long time but have held off buying, I wondered if anyone had bought them in the US, whether they were much cheaper and how easy it is to find shops selling them around Disney area?

Thanks for your help

Hi,

I bought my DS and DD some last year from the Outlet Premium the cost was basically $60 when in the UK the cost for the exact same pair was £60 so yes they are cheaper but just how cheap depends on the exchange rate you get for your trip :D Hope this helps :d:

We bought some in Oct 2006 in Florida Mall, cant remember the name of the sports shop and as my DD has small kids size 12 we had to go to Journeys Kids for hers. I think they have come down in price since we bought them, but you cant go wrong. I think you get a better selection over there too.

i bought some in august last year $60 dollars for my daughter, she could not get the hang of it because of being a lefty but a shopping trolley in tesco helped big style and now she is zooming every where.

I think it just takes practice, I made my kids put them on now and again and spent an afternoon holding on to them, then they were off. My daughter loves them, she needs the next size up now so hers will go on Ebay too.

Ours were cheaper than here around £25 and DS wore his home as they are quite heavy. We just took out the wheels and placed the caps on till we got home. We got ours from the Florida mall too.

We bought 3 pairs for youngest DD in 06. Each a size bigger to last her. Think I spent $100 in total on them.
