We were at the Fantasmic show in December. I think it was on at 6.30 during our visit.

No tickets needed. If you want a good seat you need to start arriving anywhere upto 60 minutes before the show starts. I think we headed to the threatre around 5.45pm. It is a 7000 seater theatre and the show is fantastic.

You can access to special reserved seating by making a Fantasmic ADR which is the show combined with a meal. Info here (http://www.thedibb.co.uk/fantasmic-dining-experience.php)

when we were there over christmas there were 2 shows per night, i don't know if this is just done during peak times or it this is normal. we booked a FDP and had a fantastic meal at hollywood brown derby and then went to the arena about 20 (ish) minutes before the show and sat in the FDP reserved area.
it was our first time seeing it and it was amazing...you don't book it ( unless you are doing FDP) or pay extra for it its included in the price of your park entry

No you don't need any special tickets. When you go into the park grab a park map & it will tell you the show times of Fantasmic. This is a show not to be missed you will love it.
Infact we found the park hours really handy in our planning. We printed it off & took it with us.
