I'm booking a midweek stay for me and my two at Longleat Center Parcs for June this year (there's a 25% off code that's available so it's not as expensive as usual).

I've been to Longleat but 10 years ago, my two kids have been to Elveden but that was a few years back too and we need our memory refreshing!

So, a few questions! Is there anything you suggest we pack with us that's 'missing' in the villas? I seem to recall wishing there was toaster when I went last but is that still the case?

Does anyone know how much it is now to hire bikes?

Question from my son .... Is it possible to bring his PS2 or XBox and link it up to the tv that's in the villa? Do they have the right plugs?

Any other hints and tips for me that may be useful?

Thanks ever so guys :wavey:

It's been a year since we went (sigh) so I'm not sure of prices-as regular guests we always got vouchers which paid for the adult bikes, the kids liked to take their own. The accomodation is so much better now than 10 years ago. We have been to them all,but prefer elveden as it is so close to us and we feel it's just the right size. Yes there are toasters in the villas, also microwaves, and the kids were able to plug their games in the tv we had-but we weren't really in the villa enough to care! The only thing I don't like is their electric ovens which I find very slow.Nice duvets on the beds now too- when we firt started going 17 years ago,it was sheets and blankets and you had to make your own beds up on arrival-I was so glad when they stopped that! June is a lovely time to go.
