Hi, if you book a disney hotel using AAA rates, does your AA card just have to be valid at the time of booking or also at the time of check in?? I know last year I wasn't even asked for my AA card. This year my AA cover runds out in July and I dont intend to renew it and we dont go on holiday until October.

Thanks

We were told that we would need to show our AA card at check-in so I presume it would need to be valid then.

We also had to show our card last year at check-in both at disney and at the HRH.

If you are a member of the AA in this country you can qualify for AAA discount in the us.Its the same as our AA.

It works out quite a discount sometimes.

Can you use your AA card for discount when booking online or do you have to call the hotels direct to do it?

Never used it at Disney , but book Universal hotel using it.
No number required when booking but they say it is needed when checking in. Have never been asked, but if your card is not valid, worst scenario is they could cancel the booking, or change the rate to what the going rate is at the time.
I would imagine the saving being made on AAA rate would pay the renewal price.

We got AAA dizzy at the Poly (15%) and at HRH (10%). Obviously had to give the number at time of booking and told the same card is required at check-in.

Val very kindly booked our Poly stay!

If you join AA through Quidco you could get it with £20 off like I did ;)

THEN, get a room at Disney/Universal cheaper too.

That's what I need to know too? I think you may have to book with Disney US direct?

Did you manage to get sorted with AA through Quidco?
