Hi

Has anyone been to this resort? We are considering it for the end of May Break, its going to cost £2K :erm: through First Choice so I want to make sure that its the right place for us and our two very active sons, they love the water and anything that involves sports so it sounds ideal but just wondered if anyone could give me some kind of idea what its really like?

Thanks

Haven't been to the one in Turkey but we did go to the one in Majorca. Overall it was a good holiday but it was incredibly crowded - DH would have to get up at 7 to get sunbeds and if you did not stay with them, your towels were removed and the pool was too busy for my kids to go in the shallow end alone although they were only 6 at the time. The restaurants were good but busy. The entertainment was not of a particularly high quality but it was good fun.

Havent stayed at the Holiday Village but thought about it. Just to let you know, there isnt much at all outside of the hotel. I think its a 15 minute walk into Sarigerme village where you can book trips, a few restaurants and bars etc. At one time the nearest ATM was quite a way by taxi, so make sure you take enough cash.

I've heard its a great standard hotel, plenty going on inside. This year they have merged with the Iberostar hotel next door to make one big complex (it was originally like this but Iberostar bought one of the hotels)

Hope it helps a bit, I like to research holidays properly and had been planning to stay in the Iberostar hotel as we booked our flights at a very cheap price, but then First choice bought it back so now we cant book direct! We are probably now going to the resort we usually go to which is Fethiye.

I went there in 2006 and had a brilliant holiday there are in total 17 pools so great for your sons, my 2 boys loved every minute of it. the food was great too it was merged with the other hotel when we went too and was worth every penny.
Been to the Majorca one too and although that was good too Turkey was better.
Any questions please fire away and I can also direct you to a fab holiday site that will tell you all you need to know.
