Hi All

Just thought I'd share my itinerary with you all, I'm sure it will change before we go. We've got everything pretty much booked; flights with Virgin, tickets for all the parks, hotel and car hire (7 seater mini van with Budget) so just need to sit back and do some more research on the Dibb to find some more useful info. Doing 3 nights in All Star Movies, then driving to my Mum's villa on the East Coast (Port Richey) for the last 13 nights. Any advice appreciated ;)

Cast is:
Me (Justin 29) Booker, Driver, Organiser
Leanne (GF 24) Shopper, Tinkerbell fan
Melvyn (GF Dad 49) Bank for his DD's
Paula (GF Mum 45) What can I say about my GF Mum
Lauren (GF Sis 21) Struggles to get out of bed early
Nathan (GF Nephew 3) Little Boss - can't wait to see him with Mickey

It looks good, as you say quite a bit of driving but looks very doable, although on your MK day I'd forgo the parade and rest back at the resort with the little un before dinner

Going to try and stay for the parade and wishes on our first full day, so maybe as you advised we'll take a few hours out late afternoon before eating at 6.40pm then return to MK.

Thanks for the advice.

Good itinerary! We are going at exactly the same time as you! - flying out of Manchester on the 19th April at 12 o'clock lunchtime. Can't wait!

We're also flying from Manchester on the 19th April. We're on the 10.25am Virgin Flight. We also have a 3 year old and a difficult to get out of bed 15 year old. We're doing the Universal Parks, Busch Gardens and Kennedy as well, god help us, we'll need a holiday to get over it.

There is a shuttle launch at Kennendy during this time 25th April (8.30am). I think this is a must to see!!

We know about the shuttle launch but have decided that we can't deal with the traffic situation with a 2 year old. We are going to go to Kennedy the Tuesday before and hopefully will see it on the launch pad. Unless you get a ticket for the day which I believe sell out the minute they're released I think the nearest viewing platform is about 6 miles away so you don't see that much anyway. Without the 2 year old we'd definitely consider it..... :spin: :spin:

Must be on slightly different flights as we don't depart until 1.30pm - flying with Virgin. Have you made an itinerary yet?

Also thx for the heads up on the shuttle launch - didn't know about it! Think we'll give it a miss as it's a long trip from the West to East coast. So we'll probably only see the trail going up into the sky.

We wanted the 10.25am flight, but when we booked it worked out about £80 more each, so in the end we decided to fly out later in the afternoon and stay for 16 nights.

Can't wait to see my nephews reaction to Disney, that's if we can get his Mum out of bed early enough.

My parents did a shuttle launch in the late 90s, they couldn't get close but found a viewing point which must have been miles away, but they thought it was fantastic as you could feel the ground shake and the sound was unbelievable.

Think we will just be at a viewing point as my two sons ages 4 and 19 months will be there!

Just trying to work out an itinerary - Didn't think it would be this hard!!!!
