Hi all, Just got back this week from the dominican republic, had a fantastic time, weather boiling!!. Anyway didnt start so good , got to checkin at gatwick to be told that there was a two hour delay and thomsonfly wouldnt be flying us it was xl, well not best pleased but thought it wouldnt be so bad, how wrong were we!! The most uncomfortable flight ever had more comfortable shorthaul flights, cramped, no seatback tv's, and entertainment was rubbish,longest 9 hours of our life!! but it got us there and had a fab holiday. Going home were told another three hour delay, got a bit worried we be on xl again, but luckly was thomson, however had trouble getting headsets for entertainment because we should have had them on thomson flight out, and we didnt get the blanket and pillow packs because again should have had them on way out, and they dont carry any on return flights, so a bit annoyed bout that, if i wanted xl would have booked them at a cheaper price than we paid thomson. How ever must say the thomson plane was excellent loads of legroom and entertainment great ( when we finally got headsets ). Flying to sanford in july with thomsonfly with 5 kids praying we do not get dumped on an xl plane again!! :nonono:
