where to buy a camera lens ?

hi all my husband wants a new lens for his camera - canon EF-S 55-250mm Does anyone knwo if they can be bought in florida ? and where and how much ?

www.ritzcameras.com in Florida Mall. Dont use any of the small camera shops on the tourist roads as they can be very dodgy, if you do go in make sure that you know the maximum price you will pay and also ensure that the lense they show you is the same as the one you walk out the shop with as i know someone who was conned this way as when they got back to there place and opend the box it was not a Canon lense in it , it was a pattern one and they got nowhere when they took it back.

Walmart and best buy also sell lenses.Both have websites so you could browse before you go.

I too would keep away from these so called cheap camera outlets. I felt threatened when i was in one on International drive.
I knew about Ritz cameras as i have spent a lot of money with them over the years.
I purchased a canon lens 17-85 IS USM $599 (£310) and the cheapest i could find it over here was £470.
Howard who i know in the Florida Mall store is a very friendly guy who will let you try anything in his store.
Check out their website it very good.

Gary... i too found him a great help and always go in every visit and see him, got a good price on a Sigma 170-500 from him... The Mall store gets the latest stuff in before the Sand Lake Road branch.
