trying to put the finishing touches to the restaurants I want to eat in during our holidays in August. I have ddp and want to chose a dtd restaurant when we spend the day at Disneyquest. Was thinking either Wolfgang Pucks or Raglan Road. Anyone have preferences or any other ideas. Thanks

I liked the atmosphere in Planet Hollywood but the food is a bit hit and miss. Wolfgang Pucks is really nice.

I would definately recommend Raglan Road. I know some people have mixed views, but we thought it was absolutely fantastic!

Wolfgang Pucks or Raglan Road are our favourites. Raglan road was the dearest we ate at last year but def. worth it.

Wolfgang Pucks was very nice. The only restaurant that we had to do twice.

I'm not that keen on the House of Blues menu and have been told that it can get noisy in there?????

Going to try Wolfgang Puck before we do Cirque, heard good things and really like the look of the menu, it's my (and my party's( type of food.

Heard mixed reports of Raglan Road and it seems a bit too 'pub grub' to me, I don't like the Rose and Crown in Epcot for the same reason. I can get that kind of food here all the time!

The food in Disney Quest is absolutely Fab and we go there on every trip, only down side this time DS was too small and too young to go on anything in there

we tried the rainforest cafe while we were there last time and it was awful, the food wasnt cooked properly and the service was terrible( there is a question on here about the rain forest cafe and there are a lot of people on there with bad experiances as well).

We've only ever ate at Wolfgang Puck Express and we love it, the food is really very good and tasty, so have visited a few times. However, just read a review on Wolfgang Puck Cafe and it wasn't very good :erm:

We only had fish and chips for lunch at Raglan Road but it was very tasty fish and chips and I'm quite fussy about my fish.

Is Raglan Road the chip shop next to the Irish Pub ???

If not the place above is the best fish and chips i have had

Not overly impressed with Wolfgang Puck at DTD, although the same outlet at the Block at Orange in Anaheim, CA was amazing.

Never been to Raglan Road but from people I know who have been the portions are the smallest in Orlando. The prices aren't though!!

House of Blues is always consistent although I do agree the menu is a little limited. The corn bread is to die for though!!! ;) ;) I've never been put of by the noise. In fact we ate in the HOB in New Orleans as the Scissor Sisters played in the next room, very interesting and oh how we wished we'd booked $20 tickets. Yes just $20!!!

Planet Hollywood is best avoided. I've had all experiences in this outlet and consistency was not high on the list. First time was excellent, but since then experiences of 2hr waits, cold food, poor service have ruined it for us. We never go there now, or indeed to any PH anywhere else.

I feel the Rainforest Cafe's in Orlando are some of the worst in the chain, especially the DTD one. They seem to rest on their reputation a bit, and waits can be horrendous. The Animal Kingdom one is better, but still gets nowhere the quality of the same restaurant in San Francisco or the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

After reading this back, it seems very negative. Personally I would head to the Boardwalk where the ESPN Zone is indeed very nice, or just head back to the Crossroads area in Lake Buena Vista and go to the excellent Chicago Pizzeria Uno.

Sorry.

am confused still as what to chose. :confused2
I suppose we all have our favourites and different tastes.
One question someone might answer is what time the entertainment starts in raglan road? as this might swing it.
Will probably like to eat about 6pm so if enetertainment was much later it would be no use to us.
Thanks for all the replies! :wavey:
