For all of you who live near Glasgow, you now have the chance to see Cirque Du Soleil there but only for 2 nights. The show is called Delirium and here is part of the email I got (I am a member of Cirque) ..

'For the first time Cirque du Soleil will visit Glasgow with a unique new experience called DELIRIUM.

DELIRIUM is a multifaceted event of unprecedented proportion featuring a state-of-the-art mix of music & stunning acrobatics infused with multimedia & awe-inspiring gigantic visuals. Pumped by re-energized Cirque du Soleil rhythm, the DELIRIUM show transports audiences into an uproar of sight & sound.

Tickets for DELIRIUM, scheduled to perform 2 shows only in Secc Glasgow, are exclusively available for Cirque Club members from Tuesday, February 5 until Friday, February 8. Performances will take place in Secc Glasgow on Wednesday, April 9th and Thursday, April 10th.'

If you have not been to Cirque in DTD for La Nouba or if you're debating whether it's a good show or not ... get yourself along to this one and find out. If anyone does go, could you let me know what you thought of this one as it's one of the few I haven't seen!

Thanks

We saw this last year at Birmingham NIA and it was great. Not the usual Cirque du Soleil as it is more music based rather than acrobatics, but even so, it was fab. :wavey: :wavey:

I saw Varekai on Sunday at the Royal Albert Hall (my 4th Cirque) and I love them all. If I could afford to fly to Glasgow and see Delirium I would but it's a long way to listen to music!!

I can't imagine it being more music as the acrobats are the 'main' bit .. very strange ... how did you rate it over other Cirque shows?

Took my mum and dad to Varekai as they hadn't seen any before ... they're now planning to do La Nouba on our trip in Sept. I'm quite good at helping people spend money it seems!! :d:
