Hi Guys,
I found this website today and must say it's fantastic! It's nice to read advice, ideas and itinearies but now I feel even more confused, lol!! We are heading to Orlando on 20th Sept 2008 for 2 weeks there are 4 of us and we are going with another family of 4. (The kids will be 10,9,7,6) We have never been to WDW in Orlando, my family have been to Paris WDW 5 times over the last 10 years. :tounge:
So basically I have read up on tips and asked friends for their advice and I have come up with an Itineary so would like some feedback on it. The friends we are going with have left it in my organised hands (AAAH) to sort most things out eg; flights, villa, tickets, car etc... So I obviously have a lot of people to please.
The one thing we all wanted to do was Discovery Cove, and it is my friends little boy's birthday when we are out there so have arranged for it on this day, I brought the ultimate tickets which cover Seaworld, Aquatica and Busch gardens for the 2 weeks. I have not yet brought any other tickets but I was going to purchase Universal 2 day 2 park and Disney Ultimate for 14 days (Best price on attraction tickets direct that I have found).
Right so here goes;

Sat 20th;
Arrive, unpack, swim in villa pool, food shop, drive around etc

Sun 21st;
Epcot

Mon 22nd;
Busch Gardens

Tues 23rd;
Water park, shopping

Wed 24th;
Universal/IOA

Thurs 25th;
Discovery Cove

Fri 26th;
Aquatica

Sat 27th;
Clearwater/St Petes beach

Sun 28th;
Magic Kingdom

Mon 29th;
Seaworld

Tues 30th;
MGM Studios

Wed 1st;
Animal Kingdom, Water park/shopping

Thurs/Fri;
Kept free for 2nd visits to favourites!

Sat 4th;
Check in @ Downtown
Gatorland???
Flight home 17.50 :cry: :cry: :cry:

My son also wants to do an airboat trip at Boggy creek so we'll squeeze that in somewhere!
I have been unable to find out about any late nite parades, shows within the parks to date so if anyone knows of any that'll be great!
Also any recommendations for any nice reasonably priced restaurants as well please, we wanna do Rainforest and also Chef Mickey which I will prebook when i reach my 180 days!
Thank you, I'll appreciate any feedback positive or negative and your helpful tips and hints. I really want to make this a holiday of a lifetime for my family and friends. xxxx

Hiya :wave:

The park hours for September are not out yet, they are published 6 months before so Sept will be out in March & Oct in April.

Your itinery looks very full on, you might want to shuffle a park to your last Thurs keeping only the Friday free to return to your fave but this should realease a day mid-trip to relax. You will find the kids will be begging to splash around in the pool villa & the adults will certainly want to sit down for more than 5 mins!

Where about's is your villa? The location will help with eating recommendations although with such a busy itinery I suspect alot of your evenings will be spent around the villa bbq-ing & soaking aching feet!

:grin:

Hello and welcome :wavey:

You are certainly looking to pack a lot in to the itinery, Epcot is really a 2-day park and Universal/IOA are also worthy of a day each.

Discovery Cove is really a very restful day but you also have the beach 2 days later, I would be inclined to leave that until a bit later in the second week as you will possibly be flagging from all the parks and may feel the benefit of a lazy beach day more in the middle of week 2.

You will never fit it all into one trip so just choose what you want to do most and start planning another trip as soon as you get home!! :spin:
