We are going to Orlando for the 1st time and I am in the process of sorting out attraction tickets. :) We are going for 14 days I am ordering 14 day Disney tickets and 1 day in sea world.

My question is would it be better not to book anything else up and see how it goes or is there any where that I should not miss and get tickets before hand (If I get the tickets before hand then I know we will go rather than wait until we are there, I am worried we will get so tied up with Disney we will miss something?)?

Thank you for your advice

Amanda :thumbs-up

P.S This site is great for 1st timers like me as I can get all my questions answered and I know we will all have a really good time when we get there. Thank you everyone :)

Are you planning on going again to Orlando or will this be your one and only time ? If the answer is only the once then you may want to look at going to Universal as well.

I would recommend Universal also, it's offers a very different experience to Disney and it would be a shame to miss it.

I would just do disney and seaworld otherwise you can coom back feeling like you need another holiday to get over it. Having said that if you feel you are never going back then I would do. universal and busch gardens like you said you could buy tickets for other attractions when and if you need them.

I was thinking it might be best to buy any other tickets there as I don't want to rush everything and come home feeling like I have missed things. You never know with some saving and convincing (DH thinks once will be enough!!) we might even go again.

Agree with all the above. But who and how many are going.

If you have quite young children then you may already have all you need by way of tickets

We first visited orlando in 1996 then again in 1998, that year our boys were 10 & 6 & we went to gatorland, although the sister-in-law had said it was rubbish and not to bother. We thought it was a fun 1/2 day with not too much stress. This year we are returning for the 7th time and have decided to gatorland another visit the boys are now 20 & 16.
The moral of this story is everyone has their own opinion on the parks and attractions but you need to see and judge for yourself or you could miss out bigtime.

In our group there will be me, DH, DD's 12 & 8 years old and DS 10.

I am hoping once we have been that DH will want to save up to go again, at the moment he says it is a once in a life time trip (we'll see!!)
