Hi,
After much. much surfing on the DIBB board, I have finally put my itinerary together for our May 2008 trip. Trust me, when I say hours and hours of planning have gone into this - so I hope I have not made any glaring mistakes!!!
Here goes.....
The cast:
Me (Mark), 36 - Loves the USA and loves theme parks.
DF (Maria), 30 (but dont tell her I told you!) - hates theme parks - so this should be interesting!!! But does love Disney, so I am hoping she gets some of the magic.
DS (James), 8 - Says he's an EMO at 8 years old! Will do most things - my thrill ride partner.
DD (Ella), 2.5 - If madam wants it, madam will get it or we'll all know about it!
DM (Jackie), 60 - Won't do rides, but is more than happy to go with the flow and see the family enjoy themselves.
DSF (Paul), Ummm 65 ish (Can't remember!) - Two things he wants out of the holiday - Airboat ride and Hooters (I am more than happy to accomodate both, especially number 2!).
The proposed itinerary:
I have tried to build in a rest day or 'easier' day every 3rd day, because I had to think about the olds and also allow the others to recharge their batteries. But I have included shopping trips and water parks as rest activities
Day 0 - (13/05/08)
Taxi to Gatwick (Paid for by Mum - thanks!).
Twilight Check In.
Stay At Travelodge.

Have a row with the nice people at Alamo about upgrades.

Day 2 - (15/05/08)
Magic Kingdom (Early start - due to time difference - I know its EMH and will be busy but my fiancee is refusing to go anywhere else until she has seen the castle!!!).
Leave early PM to return to hotel and chill out there.
