Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has done this recently and if they would recommend it. I love the old ww2 films and think this would be absolutely fantastic so if anyone has any experiences of this then i would love to know. Also would it be better to book before i go or wait til i get there and get it cheaper(do they do discount vouchers anywhere for this sort of thing).Getting really excited about this holiday now i feel like a little kid  .

Cheers

My DH did this for his 40th in 2006 and loved it. I booked before we went as I really wanted it to be on his birthday so am not sure if it is cheaper when you are there. DH loved it and even got to pilot doing complicated loop de loops even though I asked him to leave it to the pilot as was worried about him. :nonono:

Fanasty of Flight (http://www.fantasyofflight.com/) is located between Orlando and Tampa.

I did just take a look at their website and they have an announcement of being closed on 31/03 and 01/04 for a private event so keep this in mind if you are here during those dates.

I believe if you look on You Tube you can find some videos of people who have been. I've heard it is a great afternoon (or morning) away from the parks and it has been voted one of Orlando's best kept secrets several times.

Its not the fantasy of flight they are talking about, it's warbird adventures http://www.warbirdadventures.com/

Did it for 50th in 2003, FANTASTIC. It's not cheap but it's something you will never forget.

Sorry about that....I immediately thought of Fantasy of Flight. The Warbird Aadventures is located in Kissimmee which would be easier to get to if you aren't doing car hire.

Fantasy of Flight also offers flight experiences if you wanted to look at them both. The Warbird Adventures seems to be more advanced and hands on than Fantasy of Flight which is more of a mini flight/tour.
