I need everybody's help...I fancy doing 'Ohana in the evening but DH isn't convinced so I'd welcome any advice and especially nice (yummy) food pics. ;)
Any help would be gratefully received... :thumbs-up :thumbs-up :thumbs-up

I've not been, but it's definately high on my list of restaurants to visit. I think it's basically if your DH likes meat, then he'll love it. I think there a couple of pics in the Menu section to have a look at.

If your husband likes meat then he will love it as there is loads of it!!

I enjoyed it although felt it very rushed and the restaurant is very noisy. Good to do it though definitely.

This is my DH's favourite place to eat.

This was taken from our trip in December 2005

We did 7 table service meals last time over, and Ohana was the only one that is on our "must do next time" list. Some others got 2 thumbs up out of 3, but only Ohana got all 3 from DH, DD and me! The starters are fab, the meat is great and the dessert is to die for.

'Ohana is at the Polynesian Resort, it's a 'All you can eat' buffet.

My wife and I went for dinner on honeymoon last July, it's fantastic, the food keeps coming and coming and even I was unable to finish it. The chef was happy to come out and speak to my wife (who has an allergy to shell fish) and then before they brought out desert he appeared again with two glasses of champagne and a plate full of chocolate covered strawberries and "congratulations" written on the plate in dipping sauces on the house. Friendly service, fantastic food, and a lovely setting if you request a table window that overlooks seven seas lagoon. It was the favourite table service dinner we had in our 3 weeks at Disney.

We have booked to go there for DH birthday. Both myself and DD are veggies but were assured that this would be fine. Are there any other veggies out there who have eaten here?

I have and it wasn't really a favourite of mine. But i must say that it was nothing to do with the restaurant more my own fussy eating habits! I told them i was a veggie and they were fine with this and the chef made me a veggie alternative. Its my problem really as i am a plain eater and the dish they made had lots and lots of various veggies in it that weren't to my taste. The noodles that were with them though were really nice.

If we were to go back i would ask for the noodles to be plain and have the veggies on the side. That would save me trying to eat around the ones i didn't like.:thumbs-up

Thanks for that Leanne. I knew it would be ok really, I was just having a little wobble!

I would love to go here, but I have a very fussy 14 year old son (DH, DD and other DS love our food!) - do they or would they do anything else (can he have the kids chicken nuggets and chips etc)?

We went and our 2 boys are fussy eaters and wouldnt eat anything on the menu,so we spoke to the waiter and he offered them a choice and they had as many chicken nuggets as they could fit in.I know there are mixed reviews on this resturaunt but it has got to be one of our favourites,. Just one tip make sure you are very hungry when you go

We've only had the breakfast here but am tempted to try the dinner because of the good reports I have read.

Thanks Nikki and Andrew, another question!
We're not staying onsite - if I make an ADR, can we just come and park in the hotel carpark for the evening or if we've been to the park for the day, can we use disney transport to go the the Poly resort?
