Sawgrass Mills

Has anyone been to Sawgrass Mills for shopping, if so, is it worth the trip considering all the new outlets on the Prime Outlets site and Premium Outlets? Also Buena Vista isn't too bad now, quite a lot of stores on there now. Thought a trip to Sawgrass for this year but it's a long way to go if we can get the same goods locally. :confused2

See we've been a couple of times when staying down in Fort Lauderdale. It's a huge place and has been extended again since we were last there. I wouldn't consider going unless you are staying down in the area as it would be a very long drive for basically the same shops that you can get in a combination of Prime, Premium and LBV. It's a very long way form Orlando and to be honest it feels like a long way from Fort Lauderdale when your driving to it!!

I went to Sawgrass this time last year and, although it has some newer areas, I thought it was a bit down and disappointing. I'd stick to the Orlando outlets.

Yes, you will find exactly the same stores etc at Sawgrass as you would in Orlando. Nice place to visit if you are staying in the area - but not really worth driving all the way from Orlando for.

Personally I wouldn't drive all the way down to visit Sawgrass Mills, Orlando has more than enough outlets to cover it, albeit in different places. However, if you are in Fort Lauderdale area probably well worth a visit. :)

We had 5 nights in fort lauderdale last aug ,and went to sawgrass late one afternoon ,its huge but as said would,nt drive down just for that mostly same shops you get around orlando
