View Full Version : Blue Man Show Poncho Section
Have booked to see Blue Man show and would be grateful for any advice on sitting in the Poncho Section - is it fun to sit there or not really a good idea ? Do you get a good view of the show etc ?

I can't tell you about the Universal show but just wanted to say, if you haven't already seen them, that you're in for a treat. We saw them in London a couple of years ago and they were fantastic. I want to go to the Universal one but I don't think finances will allow it. :( We were in the poncho section for London and, disappointingly, we didn't wet but that's not to say that you won't in Universal.

We went last year to see this show but did not sit in the poncho zone but just wanted to say that the show was excellent and we would definitely go and see it again
Similarly I saw it in London but not in the poncho section. I would definitely go for the poncho section. Best view, and only a chance of getting splashed - and you're wearing a poncho anyway so no harm done. Its def the fun way to see a great show.

Again, I've seen it in London not Orlando. We sat in the poncho section and they were amazing seats! We were sat in the middle, and did get stuff thrown at us, but like the name suggests, you're wearing poncho's so it really doesn't matter. All in the name of fun anyway!!
They're really good seats, very good view of the show. Can't recommend it highly enough - would love to watch it again!
Saw them in Orlando last August, in Poncho section 3 rows back but it is such a small theatre it does not matter where you sit really, I think its 1,000 seats if I remember rightly which is very small.
we could have gone without ponchos, nothing relly came into audience, a little speck of gunk hit my arm.
Get there early as they show very funny messages on a screen before show starts (or has it started) and they picked on people that arrived late.
Well worth seeing
If you have universal AP, they give at least 10% off, 20% some dates.
Thanks everyone for the info - Will be asking for Poncho seats :d: - can't wait to see it - I'm keeping it secret from the family - surprised them with La Nouba when we went in 2006, which was fantastic.
Just dug a few pics out, I am one of the few that didn't like La Nouba but loved BMG. & why is my 13 year old so tall?
Band afterwards pose for photos, sorry dont usually keep out of focus but it was the only one we got.

this looks like fun - so must do - especially as we are staying at RPR for a couple of nights when the halloween nights are on which are not appropriate for my 8 yr old son so this will be fab - so will go there instead THANK YOU
We went to see BMG at Universal a few weeks back. we sat in the very first row, just off centre.....we didn't need a poncho (although I put the hood up a few times expecting to get wet or gunged)
The show is absolutely brilliant, I can't praise it enough :thumbs-up
I actually was terrorfied most of the show in case I got picked on....I did a little but, it was nothing! It was the most fun I'd had in months.
I would actually recommend sitting nearer the front so that you can read the boards they use part way through the show.
I want to go again!
