hi
i hope that someone can help
we're off to florida in august and for our first 9 nights we're staying at pop century & for the final 12 days staying at the sheraton(4 points) on i-drive.
we dont have a car for transportation, but would like to have a nice chinese meal while we're there. Can anyone recommend a nice chinese to go to either within walking or i-ride distance?
Do they cater for children as well (age 12)
thanks in advance

China Jade, on same side of I drive, well before Sandlake Road, so walking distance. We had a buffet style meal in there and it was very reasonable and great food. We went twice.
Lots of food suitable for kids also cakes, jello and ice creams in different flavours, yummy.

I was just about to say this one. It's called China Buffet. We went in October last year and it was one of the best meals we had all holiday :thumbs-up The choice was absolutely amazing and I would definetely return. I was a bit unsure at first with taking the kids there as they don't really like chinese food but they catered for them too. There was loads of things like chicken nuggets, chips, sausages etc.
We also went to Ming court and although the food was really nice I felt they kind of looked down on us as we had our park clothes on :confused2 . I didn't realise it was a more up market place. I would go back again but only if I was more dresses for the occasion
Not sure about a good one, but the one just down Palm Parkway nr, Crossroads at LBV was awful!!!!!

Another vote for China Jade, this has been a favourite of mine for about 10 years.... I love the Mongolian Grill part where everything is cooked fresh.

. Kim Wu Chinese Restaurant is located at 4904 South Kirkman Rd. Orlando FL. The telephone number is 407-293-0752. They are open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:00am until 10:00pm, Friday & Saturday from 11:00am until 11:00pm, and Sunday from 11:00am until 9:00pm. They offer a great buffet which will cost you an average of $8 not including tax and tip. If you prefer not to have the buffet than the average entrée is around $11. The best menu item is definitely the BBQ ribs, and of course the crab rangoon. The dress code is casual and they offer family style dinning for a reasonable price. They do not offer take out or delivery at this location.
not far from universal, it is brilliant!
