i have booked a few ADR's for the first few days of our trip but DH2b does not want me to book too many so that we are organising our days around eating does he have a point. i have booked the following:

lunch at coral reef and spend that day in epcot
lunch at crystal palace and narcoossees for dinner (hopefully will see the water pageant)
fantasmic+ brown derby
chef mickey for brekkie + lunch at royal table (on same day for b- day)
is this enough? we are there for two weeks?
any other dining recommendations? would like a good place to eat in MGM

We are going to be staying in Disney for 12 nights and I have 8 ADRs. It depends when you are going we are going in August and want somewhere to escape the heat while we eat.

I told DH that we will need to eat somewhere whether I book in advance or not! The only ones you pay in advance for are cinderellas table and any dinner shows the others you could make and then if you change your mind you can call and cancel without charge.

What sort of place are looking for in MGM we have 7yr old so we are looking fun, fun, fun and are eating at the sci-fi diner and 50s prime time diner.

We have free Dining Plan this August and I'm going to make at least 14 Table service ADRs.

We had the dining plan for 3 weeks last year and made so many ADR's that our holiday lacked its usual spontaneity. I've only made 5 for our next two week trip.

I love the sci fi diner, great fun for kids and adults.

Too many ADRs can become restrictive as you can feel you are always watching the clock. I'll stick to one per day from now on.

The restaurant with the cars is Sci-Fi, great fun and one of our favourites.

Been planning our ADR's this weekend. Only problem is there are so many different restaurants and that everyone wants to try somewhere different. Got the list down to 18 for a 14 night holiday :erm: so a bit more planning/negotiation is needed there then. Don't really want to have more than 10, so that we have a bit of flexiblity in the itinerary.

The kids did suggest that those we do not get to this time around will have to be done on the next trip ;)

So.....this means I'd better start some preliminary plans for another trip to WDW then :d: :pgig:

We've decided we're only doing 3 ADR's even though we're spending 2 weeks at Disney, just don't want the whole holiday to be focused around ADR's.

For a two week holiday we have booked 3 ADR's, which is a lot for me. We've done breakfast on the first morning, an early breakfast at Crystal Palace one day and an ADR at MK for the day that we go to the Princess & Pirates Party. Other than that we'll just go with the flow and do whatever we feel like doing each day, rather than be dictated to by the ADR's. The only time I would book more is if I was doing the free DDP. :wavey:

We have free DDP this August and have been advised to book all our ADR's as we can always cancel if we don't need them later? I have arranged them mostly for Dinner then we are not resricted to working our days around food!
