Can anyone give me any ideas of where to eat along the 192. We've tried Breakfast places - Golden Corral etc, and Cracker Barrel, but no where else. Any ideas gratefully received, Thanks in advance.

We usually stay in this area, and have been to the following a fair few times:
TGI's, Outback steakhouse, Key W Kools, Charlie's Steakhouse, Magic Mining Co....
Take a look at my Trip Report below for some more info and pictures of FOOD!!! :thumbs-up

Black angus steak house for a fabulous filet mignon
bob evans for breakfast and home style cooking eg meat loaf
Perkins is also nice for home style cooking. Both of these are good value for money.
Depending where abouts your based on the 192, if you go west on the 192 and then south on the 27 for 2/3 mins, you will come accross an Applebees. This has quite an extensive menu.

Ruby Tuesdays - one of the bet ribeye steaks I've ever had.
Chillis - never had a bad one wherever we've eaten.
Golden Coral for breakfast - you won't need to eat for the rest of the day ;)

My favourites would be Chillis, Olive Garden, Bennignas, Ruby Tuesdays, IHOP & Smokey Bones...blimey anyone would think that all I did on holiday was eat!
We prefer the Ponderosa for breakfast, but theres also sizzlers!!(although Denny's are the best for a non buffet breakfast) for a quick lunch theres Wendys, macdonalds or cici's pizza, for a sitdown lunch there's Denny's, Ihop, the list is almost endless! there's quite a few nice places to have an evening meal, TGI's ect! The 192 is where we do most of our dinning out, the choice is really good!:wavey:

Everybody has mentioned the "normal" favourite places we enjoy - Dennys, Chillis etc - but nobody has mentioned Checkers! Fantastic food and brilliant value! (Chillie cheese fries are a BIG favourite.)

Ah..... got fond memories of Chequers.
Only place we could find open late on Christmas day 2001 after coming out of IOA for the day. We were all starving boy did it taste good :d:

No, you can't sit in. But it does have outside seats behind it.
