Where is everyone’s favourite offsite place to have breakfast?

Thanks.

Ponderosa Steakhouse International Drive - cheap and cheerfull - and kept us going all day whilst going round the theme parks.

Food was good for a buffett - in fact drooling know thinking that in 16 days time I'll be able to have some more

IHOP or Denny's but probably more IHOP

they do this fruit stuffed pancake thing that would really be enough to fill you, then come the stack of pancakes, then the bacon, sausage etc!

Completely stuffed and yummy! They also do a great eggs benedict.

Also particularly like Perkins for the hot muffins they do. :tounge: :tounge: :tounge: slurrrp

Perkins or IHOP for me. The buffet breakfasts in Orlando have gone down in quality and service over the years. I can remember posting about Golden Corrall and raving it about it on here a few years back, but last time we went it was pretty grim.

Denny's is fine also.

Another vote for IHOP, last visit I think we went there most days. I'm not the biggest fan of pancakes, so I like to work my way down the menu of all non-pancake choices, love their hash browns. :D

Another breakfast we liked was Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom, we both had Eggs Benedict, which was fantastic. That's a great way to start off an Animal Kingdom visit, although technically I guess that's onsite. :tounge:

In Orlando - my choice for best offsite buffet is Golden Coral - excellent value for money if you like your food

IHOP does the best pancakes.

Denny's - always have to have my last day's breakfast here. It's a saddo tradition, but leaving the States wouldn't be right not having one. I love the (think it's) Lumberjack - bacon, ham, eggs, sausage, potatoes with a side stack of pancakes. I never finish it all, but I do try :d:

OMG, I sound like a right piggy

Down at the beaches - more laid back, not many buffet type resutaurants. We find a Publix most mornings and get a couple of freshly made subs from the deli, plus pastries, between us - delicious

We enjoyed Bob Evans, IHOP and Golden Coral (192West) and Cracker Barrell. Had one at Dennys & Ponderosa which were ok but not good enough to go back.

Thank you everyone.:thumbs-up

I’ve had my mapman map out having a wee look at all the places you peeps suggested.

We were on the Disney Dinning plan last July and although we will be making some special ADRs for Christmas day and stuff, we just felt a change would be good as we ate at so many Disney restaurants last time.

We had a Cracker Barrel breakfast for the first time in October and it was very nice, I had the 'lighter' choice of oatmeal with maple syrup, fresh fruit and a blueberry muffin - all for about $3 and it was full of locals which I always think is a good sign. :)

Denny's, Sizzler's, Ponderosa, Waffle House and IHOP for us. Didn't like Golden Corral on 192 by Sizzler's. Still want to try a Wendy's and Perkins.

Previously I would have said Dennys but after the experience when had on one such establishment on 192 near John Young Parkway, I would never go back again. DD has been scared by this experience and actually never ate for 3 days after. The worst ever but maybe just restricted to this Denny's restaurant.

Has to be Golden Coral :d: we go to the one on the 192 west :thumbs-up

Another vote for IHOP. Our visit last June was the first time we tried here instead of sticking to Ponderosa, and we couldn't believe the difference in the taste quality of the pancakes.....yum yum! :tounge:

Loved Sizzlers, but wasn't so keen on Ihop! Considering all the hype we'd heard about the place we all thought it was very disappointing! :(
