Beaches

While in Orlando we would like to plan a trip to a beach. Does anyone know of the best beach(es) that are not too far away i.e 1-2 hours drive?

We have only ever been to daytona, and dint rate it so we will be going to clearwater for the day this year as apparently that is supposed ot be really nice and only 1-2 hours away from orlando, they also have the seascreamer which DD and BF are busting to try.

we went to cocoa beach last year it was really good , everybody enjoyed it , they also have an oldy worldy pier , but yes definately worth a visit,, we wil be going back this year.
