Has anyone ever hired an accessible minivan in Orlando??
We've had a look at all the websites of the companies that do it, but it looks like you need to have your own insurance.
Help! My brother would prefer to take his power chair, but the only way we could do this is with hiring an accessible minivan.
We're travelling with Virgin - in their brochure it says they can organise accessible vans - is this with the same companies that I have already looked at??
Any info greatly received!! :wavey:

We had one from discount mobility in December. Others have had them from them and had great experiences from them. I am afraid we had a bad one and would not reccomend at all. The biggest insult from them was when they charged our credit card for $30 for handing the vehicle back without a full tank. Yep perhaps on normal circumtanses this would of been acceptable but we had broken down :erm:
Heard excellent report about Rainbow wheels. They will tell you about car insurance.

do rainbow wheels do medical equipment to as in hoist and showerchair does anyone know.
we have had excellent service from Discount Mobility but like to keep out options open just in case ;) would prefer a company that does the lot i.e. car, hoist, showerchair etc.

Just to update - we've had quotes from both rainbow and discount mobility, and we've decided to book with rainbow - we think their vans look a bit newer.
Thanks again
