ECV Rental

Hi Folks,

I am in the process of obtaining quotes for the rental of an ECV for my father to use during our upcoming holiday and I am trying to decide between two similarly priced quotes and wondered if any of you have any thoughts/experiences of the following companies:

The first is Walker Medical, the other is DiscountMobility USA. I found them via Google. The company I have used every time previously let me down with a sub standard ECV the last time so I am reluctant to use them again.

Any reccomendations would be appreciated.

Randy`s mobility looks a really good price for 2weeks. I was looking to rent one too.Someone else recommended Orlando wheelchair and scooter rentals.

Thanks for your reply, I'm afraid that the company that let us down last time was Randy's Mobility. They supplied an ECV which was in poor condition and when they turned up to collect it the guy said "you should have called us up and we would have brought you a better one" which begs the question if they had better quality ECV's in stock then why did they not supply one in the first place?

That is interesting about Randys mobility. I had them recommended but we are having issues trying to get them to answer email, in fact it is bouncing back so we are assuming that they may not be around anymore.

I also am looking for an ecv for my mum, we are away 5weeks on fri :pgig: :pgig: , our tickets arrived this week so now it is last minute things we need to do.

Would be interested in any recommendations for ech hire.

I am taking my sister to Orlando in April and I have been looking at Randys as the price is much more favorable than any of the others, I just need to know if they are reliable or not ? :wave:

We used Walker mobility for my mothers ECV , The ECV did have problems with the battery charge not holding but the ECV was picked up and replaced within an couple of hours of calling them.

Friendly staff and very helpful . We would use them again in the future if required:thumb:
