Skateboarding!!!

My eldest son is really into skateboarding. just wondering if anybody knows of any skate parks and skate shops where he can spend his money?.

I don't know of any skate parks as such, but when one of our sons was into skateboarding a few years ago he had a brilliant time shopping - there are loads of sports shopsthat sell the boards & spares for them, ie: Sports Authority, Sports Dominator, etc and the shopping malls normally have a number of smaller specialist shops, ie: Florida Mall. He brought so much home with him we were worried about our luggage allowance!!

I'm sure there is something like an indoor skatepark at Festival Bay Mall on I Drive. i'd never been to it though, so maybe check out their website.

The Ron Jon Surf Shop at Festival Bay has an indoor skate park! :wave:

Vans Skateboard park is at Festival Bay:) There is a outdoor one as well as a indoor.

Vans skate park is fantastic , also there is a shop in the Florida Mall called Adrenalina and it sells all sorts of outdoor stuff, and although I know its not skate boarding they have got an indoor surf runner where you can learn to surf

There is some pretty good video of Adrenalina up on You Tube if you want to check it out. My co-worker goes surfing nearly every week and he has taken a look at it and says it is very difficult to do but would be good fun if you wanted to give it a try. He just followed it up with "don't expect to stand up much".
