View Full Version : Brits Guide Itinerary?
Has anyone had their itinerary planned for them through the Brits guide folk at askdaisy.net?
I'm considering paying the £20 fee because we leave in a couple of weeks time (for 3 weeks), first time visitors & dont really have the time or knowledge to plan things properly.
It sounds like good value... ?
I'd value your experiences.

Hi
Not purchased the Brit's guide itinerary but found the guide to be invaluable when planning your trip. All part of the fun!
I basically look at the busy day guide, extra magic hours etc and produce a programme around that. The Askdaisy website is also good for links etc.
Best thing to do is do a plan, post it on here and if anything is wrong with it then folks will post their opinions and put you right.
Assume as you are going in a short time (lucky you) that you would have booked all your Disney dining, tickets etc.
Hope this helps. Look forward to viewing your plans.
hi disneypars - yes I've all the park tickets, car hire & accommodation sorted. But I haven't done any ADRs - friends who have been say they're not really necessary if you plan to eat mostly off-park. (??)
We're staying @ Disney onsite for 8 nights at POR, then villa in Terra Verde, Kissimmee for last 2 weeks.
I was thinking of kicking off with Magic Kingdom or Epcot on first full day, which is Saturday 8 Mar but I see that MGM Studios have EM Hours on 8th & is not too busy on Saturdays.
What do you reckon? (Just to get me started!!)

If you want any meals at the popular resturaunts, at popular times, i.e. Chef Mickey's for breakfast, you need to book, but other than that you don't really need to.
If you are onsite, obviously take advantage of the extra magic hours, but once you are offsite and can't do the extra magic hours, avoid the park that has them on!
It's up to you which you do on the first day, some people like to go to magic kingdom on their first day, as it's probably the most special park. However, MGM is also great, and the pace is a little less frantic to get you warmed up!

Have you got kids with you? If so I would book at least one character ADR. Before our first trip we didn't book any ADR's as I didn't think we'd want to do one. Midway through our holiday I booked one, (breakfast at Cape May Cafe), and it was the highlight of our holiday for kids and adults.
We didn't get an itinerary, but did a lot of reading before we went, so we knew what we wanted to do.
Have a great time.
Thanks for the advice folks - will look at reserving a character meal for my 8yr old boy.
Would Chef Mickey's be a good choice, if that was the only one we are to do?

Hi
If it is Mickey and Minnie that you think your family would like the best then Chef Mickey's is considered the best. I have booked it for DW and myself in May this year and we are well past our sell by date. Saga was created for us in mind.
We have booked ours for 1120 so that we can get to the park early, do a few rides then have the CB followed by a chill out in the afternoon.
Hope this helps you
