I am so excited,we have just come back from our second disney holiday where we purchased DVC membership in saratoga springs, so we are now arranging our first dvc holiday for dec 08!

Can anyone help with a couple of questions,

my husband loves golf, is there some nice rooms, which look out onto the golf course, but are near one of the quiet pools?

How much are the washing machines and dryers - we would only need a studio!

How much are the bikes to hire?

How much are the kids clubs?

Any other info would be great, clairexx

Congratulations and Welcome Home:)

We stayed at the Grandstand section last Sept and our room sort of looked over the golf course, it was also near the pool and Carriage House. I liked the area it was very quiet and relaxing.

Welcome home Neighbour!
We stayed at The Grandstand last week and had a lovely view of the golf course and it was only a couple of minutes walk to the quiet pool!
The washers and dryers are free at all DVC Resorts!
Can't help with the hire of bikes as we are all lazy sods! :pgig:
Saratoga Springs doesn't have a kids club, but the deluxe Resorts do and i think we paid about $11 per hour (DVC Members get a discount!)
Hope that helps! And many congratulations on buying into such a wonderful Resort!

How much are the bikes to hire? sorry not sure,

How much are the kids clubs? there is the bit beside the themed pool where they do lots for the kids, there is board games, playstation, drawing. Its called the Community Hall and is open 9 am to 10 pm but the parents are responsible for their children. they also let the kids do crafts like bead chains and make their own icecream ;)

That's only for the use of children whose Parents are doing the Tour! It's not open to Resort Guests!

I am pretty sure it's free, although some activities may have a charge. It's not supervised childcare, but my dd (10) went in with her friend while we were by the pool, I never actually went in myself, so I don't really know what's there. We were at the Boardwalk but I imagine it's similiar, it was also called Community Hall.
