Attraction tickets direct do this tour. We have thought about this ourselves but I am worried about doing so much driving in one day.

Here is the details from ATD's site.

Everglades and Miami Tour
Miami is a place unlike any other. With a heavy Cuban accent, palm fringed beaches and striking Art-Deco architecture it’s a naturally enticing destination...

If you’ve ever wanted to visit this fascinating city, made famous by numerous movies and music videos, then this is an unmissable opportunity. The tour takes in all of the best bits including Bayside Marketplace for some serious retail therapy and of course the oh-so-cool South Beach. You will also be taken on the star island boat ride to have a good nose at the homes of the rich & famous!
Further excitement awaits however when you visit the unique wilds of the Everglades National Park. Jump aboard an airboat for a thrilling wind-in-your-hair ride across the fascinating swamplands before taking in an alligator and snake handling show. If you’re lucky you might even get to participate!
This is a long day, but a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable one.

Tour operates: Tue & Fri
Schedule: 7am Depart Orlando
11.30am Arrive at the Everglades
7pm Depart South Beach, Miami
11pm Arrive Orlando
All times given are approx.
Includes: Packed breakfast
Return transport from Orlando

Airboat ride
Alligator & snake show

Transfer time: 4 hours each way

Thank you so much for your replies, I LOVE this forum, I know that our trips to Florida would not have been half as exciting if it hadn't been for you guys!! :spin:

I've booked this trip for sept. I did a similar one a few years ago that was everglades and naples, and 2 years ago I did a day trip to Miami. It is a long journey, but the buses are so comfy and there are regular rest stops. Also films showing for the kids. Loved Miami so much we're happy to go back there, same for everglades.
