A friend has booked florida for easter, while she is there its her daughters birthday. They booked Discovery Cove to swim with the dolpins but got an e-mail shortly afterwards to say they were unable to confirm the booking and there was a blackout in bookings for march april may :confused2
Can anyone suggest anything special they could do as a family, its their daughters first time to florida ages 12 and 8

It might be too late to book but I would suggest a character dinner with the princess at Cinderella's Castle in MK.

When it was our DD 12th birthday out there we done a treasure hunt around MK. I can't for the life of me remember the name of the company that we used. Basically my daughter had to find clues around the park and at the end there was a present and card from her favourite character (Eeyore). Somebody else might know of the company that I am refering to, but in the meantime I will have a look to see if I can find it.
She loved every minute of it, even her DS and DB joined in finding the clues around the park.

If you can't get into Cindy's (which you would struggle with I think) you can always try the storybook meal at Norway in Epcot with all the princesses.
Otherwise, how about tea with Sleeping Beauty? I know you can do that at one of the resorts (and with ALice and Mad Hatter at another), but they are quite pricey.
Alternatively, any cchracter breakfast would be fun. For my birthday I would be pleased with just a visit to the Magic Kingdom!

Thanks for the replies she found a company on the net who look for cancellations and believe it or not she got one for their 2nd day they are all over the moon. And I had mentioned the breakfast at norway and she was looking to booking it this weekend if there is any availability
