Does anyone know if MK still have guest appearances with Jack Sparrow outside POtC ride? We went last April and he was there doing a little performance but we didn't know the films then so wasn't too interetsed but since then my boys are mad fans and wondered if he'd be about again this year? He's mentioned at DLP but friends asked CM and they couldn't give any times!

We were told by a CM that if you hang back near the steps across from where the other pirates put on a show (outside the ride), Jack has to walk past you and you get a closer look at him.
We were the only ones standing where they told us last year and he walked over to my DS , ruffled his hair and said "all right mate??". I don't know who was more made up.

When we were there in 2006 my DSS got a fab picture of him doing a pose just for us, just across the way from the entrance to POTC - he was gorgeous too

I have to say the quick look we had of him last year he was a real ringer for Johnny Depp. I did have to double take and back then we were'nt even into the films. We so want to see him this year, shame it couldn't be JD. I can wish!!!! :pd

I totally agree, very pleasing on the eye!!!! and he sounded so like the real thing that we also had to double check just to make sure JD wasn't moonlighting at Disney!!

We too saw him last 2006. It made my DDs day (all of them 8, 13, 15). I recorded the entire priate tutorial. The girls got to take part too. He was very good, had everything down.

The one we saw in 2006 was amazing! :tounge:
I was standing to the side and he walked over, put his arm round my neck and started whispering to me! He was holding onto me for a good couple of minutes and I was like a gibbering teenager! :pgig:
It was my birthday that day and i couldn't have asked for a better present! Unfortunately my family and friends were on the other side of the crowd so i haven't got any pictures! :(

Do you think my husband and children would mind if I spent our whole holiday in April hanging around outside Pirates of the Caribbean? Purely for research purposes you understand

Yes he is there and he is absolutely fantastic! My son (who was 4 1/2 when we went)is a huge Captain Jack fan (as is mummy and nanny! ) So we asked a cm what time he was due to do his bit,we decided to go on the ride first and when it finished we went over to the area where he performs. We were the first there as it is not advertised much and his pirate friend asked my son to help him with some rope!! Well this was very exciting but when Jack himself came out they chose ds to swordfught with them!! Thus for the entire holiday I had a very happy little boy!!!

Sounds like we'll be camping out for an hour or so before he's due to arrive. DS will be dying to sword fight with him. We're watching Black Pearl right now and Mummy's swooning!!!!
i love jack

My son also got to take part in the show he loved it and still talks about it. I hope it's there in december
