If the Park closes at 7pm that night for the party how do they ensure the day guests leave and the only people in are P&P ticket holders? If you have tickets can you still come into the park earlier in the day and then stay on? Any idea what sort of numbers are in there? Also what time is the parade and fireworks? I assume it quietens down a lot after this.

Many thanks

I think you can start entering the park after 4pm with P&P tickets! Everyone is given a wristband and after 7pm they start checking everybody! If you've not got one they will direct you to the exit! They are very hot on this! DD and DH went off to do the Indy Speedyway while i sat and watched and within 10 minutes i had 5 CM's ask to see my wristband!
i also saw plenty of people try to blag it, but they were very quickly removed by Security! 3 women with toddlers in strollers were screaming abuse at the CM's when they were asked to leave! Their behaviour was disgusting and i was pleased to see them forcibly evicted from the park! :nonono:

Starting at about 4 or 5, you show your pirates and princess ticket and they scan it and give you a wristband.

come 7pm the cast members start making people aware that the magic kingdom is closing unless you have a pirates and princess ticket. CMs stand at bridges, attraction entrances and shop doors telling people if they dont have a wristband they need to leave.

Pirates and princess parties are not TOO popular, meaning walk on rides!

There were lots of cm's walking about and kept asking to see wristbands :wavey: so any who haven't got them will be asked to leave :D

You can enter with a PPP ticket from 4pm ish. If you want to go earlier in the day you will need a regular park ticket. As others have said, the CM's are VERY hot on emptying the park quickly. We have been before on a 'sold out' night and rode Splash Mountain 3 or 4 x in a row without getting off! Fireworks are amazing - very different to Wishes and are on at 9pm :wavey:

We have just been to a P&P at MK and thought it was well worth the entrance fee instead of getting a regular park ticket, just for the ride value alone...although some attractions are shut (Jungle ride for example) those that were open were mostly 5 min waiting time so you could get loads done......ideal if you have been before.

We were told by guest services we could get in at 4pm, so you get 8 hours in effect....though obviously the park does not quieten down till 6.30pm ish....and the 'party' does not start till 7pm.

Did not think much of the actual 'party', which mainly consisted of going from point to point and collecting strings of different coloured cheap beads (occasionally a couple of plastic jewels)...small DD thought it was good, but my DS was less than impressed (especially by the beads !) :(
Other than that it was just queueing for photos with characters, a couple of mini discos and some very basic, and surprisingly unprofessional games stalls with the games all offering exactly the same prize of a small pirate tatoo....all bit stingy of Disney I thought, considering the price people have paid to park and get in.

Peraps I'm getting cynical but I wouldn't go for just the party...especially if you've boys. Worth it for the rides aspect though if you are not using the weekly pass type ticket.

Tip - go to a mid week one if you get the choice, as these are less busy than the weekend ones.

Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure what to expect. I think that my DD will love it.

I'm glad that we picked a date in the middle of the week.

I guess that if you lost your wristband then you couldn,t enter the park?
