there are a WIDE range of costumes that people wear at MNSSHP I wore Cinderella, DH was Jack Sparrow and DD was Sleeping Beauty.
But we saw Tinkerbell, Beast, Belle, Daphne and Fred from Scooby Doo a couple of Disney Villains. We also saw a lot of traditional witches and ghosts.
There are loads to choose from

ps...tickets are usually available around May 1st

good to know - was just that someone in work asked me if you were allowed to wear Disney costumes in case it confused little kids as to who the 'real' characters were. (hopefully my costume would be THAT good! lol)

also thanks for the info on the tickets - was wondering that one myself!

I read a report once where someone had seen a lady in an exact replica of Cinderella's gown and the CM's spent alot of time discussing whether to allow her into MK or not! She was alloswed in but with strict instructions to make sure she behaved!
Also another report of someone dressed as Harry Potter and been told not to respond to requests for autographs from other guests!

By the sounds of it she was regarded as a bit 'wierd'. The trip-reporter mentioned seeing her many times and she often had people staring at her but not in a good/nice way you would gaze at the real Cinderella. More like 'who does she think she is' type of thing.

The 7 of us dressed in matching cannibal outfits which my mum and I made from scratch with a bit of papier mache help from my girls.

We were stopped numerous times to have our photo taken as well as being asked what characters we were! If we had a dollar for everytime we heard, 'Awesome costumes guys!' we would be booked to go back this year! :pgig: You can see out pic below.

Dressing up was brilliant fun, it really made our night. :thumbs-up

I went as Aladdin, DW as a blonde Jasmine and DD as a pirate. We had a great time (and 4 months on we're still eating chocolates and sweets :pgig: ).

Hi we went last September for the 1st time and wasn't sure whether to dress up,well we did and it has to be one of the most fun things we have ever done; )
We bought our costumes over there,i went as a cat,DH a Roman(i think its what he was; )DD a witch, other DD a vampire,DS a Pirate and my DGD an Angel.I will try and post some pics
On our way to MNSSHP we was getting some strange looks and even when we arrived at the entrance to the park there wasn't very many people in costumes and the people that had to leave that didn't have the party tickets was giving us some peculiar looks but once inside i'd say most peole was in costumes.

That would be me - no not Cinderella but the Trippie writer!!! ;) :pgig:

Yep we saw the woman at a Pirate & Princess Party wearing an exact replica of Cinderella's gown and there was a big debate at the gates as to whether they should let her in or not! I believe Disney don't like you to wear anything that can confusing youngsters into thinking you are a Character - for obvious reasons - and a couple of the Security Guards seemed really annoyed that she'd been let in! Everytime we saw her there was always a CM close behind and she was getting a lot of funny looks from people as it did seem a very OTT thing for an adult to wear!
We saw loads of people that night dressed in the most amazing outfits! Some of the men's Pirate costumes were fantastic! You could see they'd put a lot of effort into it!
I'd definately recommend dressing up as it really adds something to the evening, but beware of wearing something that could confuse or scare little ones!
