due to the fact that we're trying for a baby a holiday this year is out of the question... so i just wondered if february is classed as off season... and i have quotes from you guys already for november, are february's prices more than those?
i don't have any dates in mind yet, obviously, but i think we'd be after a 4 bed for 2 weeks in feb 2009... thanks guys

January after the New Year is over is low season and so is September but apart from that it is pretty busy all year. Disney now class February as high season. I have had a huge number of enquiries for the last two weeks of Feb but not so many for the first two weeks. There is also the Daytona speedway stuff in Feb that makes everywhere busy and some schools seem to be off the week of 16th Feb as there were lots of enquiries for that week.

As windsorHillsPads has said, certain weeks in February tend to be very busy. Apart from the school holiday and Daytona there is a large demand in accommodation from Canadians.
Saying that I always class February as Mid season.

From February 14th (2008) onwards it is Peak Season at all Disney resorts and Presidents Week is classed as Holiday season. Presidents Week is one of the busiest weeks of the whole year, comparable to Christmas and Easter and Disney hotels are more expensive for Presidents Weekend then than they are at Easter.
In 2009 Presidents Week is from February 14th so Peak season will start around February 10th.
Also as Sharon mentions, it's a very busy time for Canadians and a very popular time for Americans.
Yes I would agree with previous posts. My Resort is full to capacity at the moment, In fact It's the busiest Ive seen it. March & April also look to be pretty full.

We too have experienced February & March to be really busy, but this is our first year of ownership so can't say for previous years!

You really need to check on the website of each villa that you are interested in. There isn't a set standard high/low seasons other than of course easter and Christmas.
Personally I live by KISS and tend to keep our season/rates straightforward so all February is priced the same Jan and March, excepting the two weeks of Easter.

Right.....I have to ask What is KISS? I know I'll regret it cos I bet it is obvious!

Some will charge it as off peak while some charge it as school hols rate. I charge off peak rates for Feb.
