Extra Magic Hours Question.

Just in planning mode at the moment and was wondering about Early Morning Extra Magic Hours and Evening Extra Magic Hours. How many hours prior to park opening is the 'extra hours' and how many 'extra hours' after park closing is it?

It's an hour before opening for the morning EMH's and three hours after closing for the evening EMH's

when we stayed for the extra hours at MK at night it was really busy, the queues for the rides were worse than they had been all day, Tend to avoid the parks on these days now.

I would say that if you can get up early then the extra hour in the morning is the better option as it's much quieter.

Thanks guys. We used the extra magic hour in the evening at AK once when we stayed a couple of nights there, it was realy quiet so I suppose it's the time of year that will effect how busy it is. Going July this year :erm:

We don't tend to stay in Disney as we love the Regal Sun Resort (Grosvenor) but we are staying a week at Port Orleans and then a week at Regal Sun so we are going to use the 'extras' to our full advantage! Definately will be doing the morning over the evening though.
