I have found somewhere just of I-drive for ice skating, on Canada Ave, just wondered if anyone had gone ice skating and if so where? I'm just thinking of things to do on 'rest' days and our dd's would love this.
We go 27th Nov to 11th Dec, and i think I also read somewhere about an ice palace, was it at Gaylord Palms? Again interested if anyone has been here and whether its worth a look out.

I too would be interested because it would be a nice suprise and certainly a little different from the weather outside!

The easiest way to find it is drive north up I Drive over Sand Lake and Turn Right as if you were going to TGI's , when you pass TGI's Turn right again and its about 100 yds down on your Right. It is very close to the Pirates Dinner show. Or turn onto Sand Lake off I Drive as if you were going to Florida Mall and then take the first left and it is down there on your left

We went to one in Clearwater a few yaers ago, it was only a small rink in a shopping mall (countryside mall) but it was lovely, the mall was really warm and the ice was good, so we had a really nice skate.
We did go down to the Ice Factory for a look around one day, it's not very pretty looking, just a shed with a rink (which to be fair is all you really need). When we went there was a hockey practice on so we couldn't skate, and the shop didn't have any figure skates (which is what we were after) so it was a bit of a wasted journey.
