Hi all

This will be our first trip to Florida, flying on Sunday 4th May this year! We have hired a car big enough for all of us. Party consists of 5 adults (one is 65 so don’t like rides and wants a more leisurely holiday, 1 of the adults not liking rides either and the other 3 adults (including me) will go on anything. Then we have 3 kids! A girl of 13 (will go on everything), boy of 12 (will go on most things if not everything) and a girl of 7 (will go on most things but will be 2 inches too short for the really really big rollercoasters), so in total 8! I have the job of organizing it all and have been doing research etc for months now. I have come up with the following itinerary going with the busy day guide. With regards to the rest days, these are more for water parks/shopping/returning to parks if we fancy it or just a day by pool (also 65 year old aunt wants to go to Kennedy so thought she could go on one of these days). Would be really good if someone could let me know what you think of it as I don’t want to mess it up!!!

Sun 4th May Land, hotel, grab food on I drive.
Mon 5th May Seaworld, dinner on I drive
Tue 6th May Hollywood Studios
Wed 7th May Rest day, Fantasmic in evening with Hollywood and vine dinner
Thur 8th May Island of Adventure, Citiwalk in evening and for dinner
Fri 9th May Magic Kingdom
Sat 10th May Rest/pool/Shopping, Wishes and Specromagic in evening
Sun 11th May Rest/pool/Shopping
Mon 12th May Busch Gardens
Tue 13th May Rest day, evening downtown Disney, disneyquest
Wed 14th May Epcot, Evening Illuminations with ADR at Japanese Tap place.
Thur 15th May Animal Kingdom
Fri 16th May Universal Studios, evening at Citiwalk with dinner
Sat 17th May Rest/return to parks etc
Sun 18th May Rest/return to parks fly home.

Because of the time of year I have had to work out what days the fireworks are on at MK and Hollywood Studios and work it accordingly.

Can’t wait, am like an excited child! Where I haven’t put anything in for the evenings we will just find a restaurant to eat that we fancy or possibly do Cirque de Sol one night and maybe a dinner show but we haven’t decided on that yet.

Looks like you are going to have fun! Plenty of space to add in some extras if you want to.

Yeah all looks great, water parks are perfect for the mix of people you have, you can set up a base where some of the group can relax, and the others can run off and do the rides!

It's good that you've spread out the fireworks on some of the days, as it can be a long day when you go early and stay for the fireworks!
