It's a lovely place to eat. We went there in October this year and had PS's. We went in on time, it's quite dark and does seem as though you're in a cellar BUT the food was wonderful, the CM was very attentive and very helpful and you weren't sitting on top of the people next to you. All in all a great meal. It's situated in Canada in the World Showcase. Try it, it's well worth it.

I have been considering Le Cellier for dinner on the day we will be at Epcot (Thursday 6th May 2004), but I have not made a PS as I was hoping to keep the spontaneity. Will I need to make one? Or will it be quiet enough to walk in at that time?

Very difficult to tell. I think the official line is that you should always try and PS but a couple of weeks ago, we booked around eleven in the morning for one o'clock.
It was pretty quiet in the restaurant, but the parks where also pretty quiet.

I would recommend that you book, as we tried a walk-in during our trip in September - considered very quiet for crowds - and the restaurant was full for the whole evening, we were disappointed. :(
Better safe than sorry, you can always cancel it if you change your mind later on.
It's now on my list of places to try in May.

We had to book three days in advance last week to get in.
Food was excellent. I had the 7oz filet mignon and dh had the herb crust prime rib. Very very nice.
I had the cheesecake for dessert, and dh (diabetic) was pleasantly surprised to be offered a sugar free cheesecake for his dessert.
Thanks for the info Carole. My DH is also diabetic. It will be a treat for him to have cheesecake. Did it taste yummy?
