if there is would it be possible to ask a question for me please, our son is in a wheelchair and can't transfer as in go from the wheelchair say onto the seat of the boat, I have emailed them to try and find out but nothing back and i don't want to travel the 2 hours only to find he can't do the boat trip.
just if someone wouldn't mind asking say if there is someone in a wheelchair then they can stay in it during the trip. we don't go until July so hoping a nice dibber will have been before us and wouldn't mind asking

Hi
We are hoping to go on it at the beginning of May. I will ask and let you know, if no-one else has found the answer for you by then.

Ali-I once emailed them a couple of years ago with a booking question and got a really quick reply. Try emailing joyce@seascreamer.com I think you'll get your answer-hope it's the reply you want :)

Ok, they just called me back. Like you already know they did say that there are some steps that you would have to carry the chair down to reach the boat. The boat itself does have a place that the chair will fit but they wanted to say that it isn't anything that the chair can be locked into. They also added that, unfortunately, they could not assist in lifting the chair (I'm sure it is an insurance/liability issue) but that they are happy to have you and your family onboard.
I didn't think to ask about how wet you get but looking at the you tube videos it seems like normal ocean spray.
They were very helpful on the phone and I'm sure they would be on the day as well.
Let me know if I can help further!!

thanks a million really appreciate you taking the time to phone them, really kind of you.
think we will chance it now, will make sure his brakes are working ;) we went on the safari ride at AK and it was so bumpy and the guys driving was all over the place so if he can stay in his chair during that then think he might manage this. my DH and DS lift him up and down to get him to the rugby so think this will manage the steps down into the boat. think he will love this so will def. head down for the day and have a look
thanks again

Glad to help. Maybe you can let me know how you get on once you are back. That way I can answer the question again if it gets asked and you don't happen to see it.
