We are considering going to disneyquest on our next trip. We have never been before.

What's it like and does it have old style arcade games inclding my all time favourite Space Invaders?

Can any of you Dibbers advise me?

Regards

Julie

Hi Julie

You'll be happy to know that you can play Space Invaders at DQ. I can't remember the floor they are on but there are loads of arcade games new and old. In the old section I can remember Space Invaders, PacMan, Mr Do and loads more whose names escape me. We meant to stop for 5 mins and then lost all track of time!

Have fun!

Hi,

There's a huge NAMCO area with old 80's ATARI games that have 99 lives on them including: -

Dig Dug

Pong

Galaxians

Tron

Space Invaders

Pac-Man

Asteroids

Battle Zone (Tank game)

Centipide

Super Breakout

etc etc

This is just one area!

We didn't spend a great deal of time here but there are other areas with more "state of the art" games etc in.

This is a great place to hit on one of your R&R days - combined witha bit of shopping, lunch and the movies at downtown disney.
I think it opens at 11am and it is probably best to go early as it gets pretty busy later on. It can be difficult to get on the machines as it relies on peoples good nature not to hog the machines - not something that works well with the younger age groups!
The design and ride your own virtual roller coaster is excellent and not to be missed and Pirates of the Caribbean is also worth the wait.
