Just read this in the Feb issue of 'Disability Now'
'Ruling opens skies to disabled people'Canada's transport agency ordered the country's major airlines to offer severely disabled air travellers free additional seating.
The Canadian Transportation Agency said Air Canada, AirCanada Jazz and Westjet had one year to bring in a 'one person one fare' policy for people with severe impairments.
This will mean that travellers who need additional seating because of their impairments will no longer have to pay more than a single fare for domestic flights.
The ruling will also apply to disabled people who need to travel with an assistant, and to people with severe obesity.'
Wouldn't it be nice if all airlines followed suit on all flights!!!!!!!
