Grocery store near WDW?

Hi there, I am going to WDW in june next year with my wife and new addition to the family (charlotte, she will be 9 months when we go!) and would like to know where the nearest shops are for baby things ie nappies and formula etc, we will be staying at port orleans for our two week stay, thanks Tim.

Tim T if you head to the crossroads from DTD and turn left at the crossroads then past another set of traffic lights about another 300 hundred yards on your right is a Winn-Dixie store. Its just where you think the shops end and the road carries on ( hope you understand that )

There is a small store at Port Orleans which sells snacks, drinks and basic medical supplies. Don't think it sells diapers though (and if it did they would be expensive :) ).

We stayed in POR for two weeks in August and had a great time - you'll love it there :)

they will sell nappies at Port Orleans but they will be expensive - useful if you run out though.
There is also a Goodings in the Crossroads shopping center -again it won't be cheap but it's very easy to find.

we bought Similac formula for Molly because we couldn't get SMA over there, and I have to say we weren't impressed, it didn't seem to mix very easily and had loads of bubbles in it, plus it gave her an upset tummy, so might be worth trying a different brand (although for the tummy problems I guess all kids will be different)

There is also a Walgreens at the Crossroads - that is where Quicksilver stopped for us to pick up bits and pieces - and one of my purchases was a big bag of nappies!

Whilst the memories are fresh:

Opposite the entrance to Disney Marketplace is Hotel Plaza Boulevard. At the end is Crossroads Shopping Centre which conatains a Goodings (24 hour opening) - the entrance to the centre is flanked by a McDonalds on the left and Pizzeria Uno Chicago Grill on the right. If you take a left at the end of Hotel Plaza Boulevard you will be on S Apopka Vineland Road. After two sets of lights you will find an ABC liquor store on your right, turn right and you will find yourself looking at Papa Johns, with Winn Dixie on the left which stays open until midnight - phone number 407 465 8600, store number #2215. It also has a pharmacy inside on the left.

As we were told, having previously shopped at Goodings, the prices inside are higher because the mouse charges high rates - Crossroads is on Disney land, which is not immediately obvious.

Hope this helps. There is also an Eckerd drugstore on the drive to Winn Dixie - turn off at Sizzler and it's on the end past Giordano's .
