My Husband is always harping on about how much he would love to go to a really nice Seafood restaurant while on holiday   , we've been to Red Lobster and the crab house on international drive, but I would realy like to take him somewhere a little bit special this year. We are stopping on I - Drive again so somewhere quite close would be bonus. Any takers please??

Don't know off-site but just ate at the Flying Fish and it was fantastic.
If you are interested have a look at my most recent set of trippies which includes this restaurant.

Hi Linny,
Always recommend Red Lobster, not fine dining I know, but always good quality and choice. We made the mistake of having a meal at Fultons Crab at DD - YUK! Really expensive, poor service, DH had an 'off' oyster, which you can imagine spoiled his whole meal (it was in his mouth before he realised it was off :confused2 ) and all the waiter offered to do was replace it with another "the chef said he had checked them all". Nothing off the bill either.

Another vote for Red Lobster. Massive portions of the freshest seafood i`ve had in years. Lobster was gorgeous as was everything really. I think that`s where we got these lovely cheese biscuits although they were scone like as they were so delicious. Definately going back for more this year :tounge:
Another vote for Flying Fish - it's at the Boardwalk and it's very good!

Sorry to read about the bad meal at Fulton's at DTD, but we went there before and had an excellent meal, yeah expensive mind, but it was a lovely treat and the setting was beautiful.

Anyone tried Sam's Fish Camp at Gaylord Palms?
I really like the Blue Zoo at the Dolphin (not cheap, but a really good meal). It's not a Disney restaurant as such so no DDE discount, but the food and ambiance is really special.
Eaten there 3 times now and not been disappointed.
Here's (http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=184853) some pictures - just scroll down to the bottom of page 1 and top of page 2.
Thanks Guys!! :rose: I will look into them all - I dare say we will go back to the Red Lobster again but will look to see where else I can take DH for a fish meal
