Hi, was just wondering if we bought snacks from shops on I Drive can we take them into parks to save us spending the higher prices for the park's food?

Yes, you can, we always take drinks and snacks, never had a problem doing that and it can save you loads.

We always take our own snack in, usually cookies and bananas, it's all the kids want during the day and saves you a fortune.

We've never had a problem with snacks or drinks that we've fitted into a rucksack.
They can object if you pitch up with the coolers.

I hear Aquatica is not allowing any food into the parks at all. They are offering an all you can eat & drink wristband for around $15.

Thanks, that's good to know. When we went in 2002 we took our own food in (leftover muffins etc from free breakfast ;) ) but I didn't know whether it had changed or not.

Also good to know about Aquatia. That would probably work out quite well for husband to be, he loves his food!

How confirmed is this please? In our party of 13 we have people that need: gluten free, veggie, vegan and just plain fussy!!

We normally don't eat chips/burgers etc but I believe the all you can eat buffet is just that? Hoping not or I'll starve .. oh ok then .. I'll eat pudding all day!!

One post has mentioned a wristbank available for food and drink at aquatica which is available. Does anyone know where there is any information about this. Would be interested especially if $15.00 as previous post has mentioned

Like the others we had no problem with taking in food. We took the usual pringles, juice and water. The only thine we never took was sandwiches - thought the heat would be too much and they would go off -

I read somewhere on here yesterday a review about Aquatica and it mentioned the band ($20). I think it was in the Theme Parks bit but not sure. It was an interesting read.

Water is about $2/ $3 a bottle, and a meal would set you back about $7, mostly burgers, chicken, fries, a few salads to choose from. The selection isn't fantastic, but the foods mostly ok. There are vending machines before you go into most of the parks, with pop, water crisps, chocolate etc, and aren't too badly priced.
